Neighbors house burnt

Burnt house of a neighbor

Today i woke up to support our church members whose house was razed down by unknown people.

The sad news is that they lost everything. But we thank God that no one including the children were injured. So as a good christian,my wife and i donated some clothes and kitchenware to help them, however they are in so much need to construct a new one but dont they still have any resources like Ironsheets, nails,Poles,Labour etc. Please if anyone can support the cause,we will appreciate. They have 4 kids who need shelter.

Please pray for them too.God bless.

Holiday tuition for the Students

Usher enrolled in a computer class.

I want to thank God for his glory and grace that enables us to clear all the fees for the students i support in various schools. It is not easy though but i trust in Him who is above .

Wesley doing welding course..

Psalm 91

Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High
will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.[a]
I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress,
my God, in whom I trust.”

The schools closed for December holidays for 2 months .And we noted that it’s important that we equip our children with necessary skills that will help them in future. So amongst the 5 students..I decided to enroll them in various short courses during this period.

1.Wesley Form 1 will be taking welding and fabrication courses.

2.Milverton Form 1 will be doing a Phone and electronics repair course.

3.Rodrick who is going to Form 4 is taking computer classes

4.Usher who is joining Grade 7 At Juniour secondary is also taking a computer class.

5.Merryline is taking Hair dressing course..

There are others that will also join once we get enough funds to support them.

I note that by the time they will be opening schools in January 2024,they will have gained some basic knowledge..and i plan to continue with the training again during holiday periods when schools are closed.

They need support in terms of fees and lunch during this period. Please pray for open doors so that i can pay for them. The work we are doing is going to shape the lives of these young children and they will be better leaders of tomorrow.

Please continue praying and support them.God bless you so much..

Trust in the Lord

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE:
Friday, November 10th 2023

“The LORD has given me a strong warning not to think like everyone else does. He said, “Don’t…live in dread of what frightens them. Make the LORD of Heaven’s Armies holy in your life…. He will keep you safe.”
Isaiah 8:11–14, NLT

TODAY’S WORD:
Don’t Think Like Everyone Else.

Negative news is all around us—how frightening the sickness is, how bad the economy is, what’s coming in the future. If you dwell on that, you’re going to end up afraid, worried, and panicked, thinking you’re not going to make it. It’s a negative cycle that keeps drawing in more fear, more worry, and more defeat. It weakens you and drains your strength, your energy, and your passion.

Today’s Scripture warns us to not think like everyone else. Negative thinking is contagious. When other people are afraid, worried, and negative, you have to be on the offensive and say, “No, I know my God is still on the throne. I will outlast whatever comes against me. I have strength in Christ for all things.” At the start of the day, you need to set your mind for victory. Don’t let just any thoughts play. You have to purposefully think power thoughts, victory thoughts, abundance thoughts, can-do thoughts. Keep honoring God, and He will defeat your enemies and keep you safe.

PRAYER FOR TODAY:

“Father, thank You that no weapon formed against me shall prosper because You are the guardian of my soul. Thank You that I can set my mind for victory today and not be afraid of what frightens and worries other people. I declare that I will not think like everyone else. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Think of victory, think of abundance.
Blessed day 🙏
