Form Four Parents’ Meeting at Bar Olengo Secondary School

It was another important and encouraging day as parents and guardians gathered for the Form Four parents’ meeting at Bar Olengo Secondary School. I was grateful to attend the meeting as a parent of two candidates, Wesley and Milverton, who are both preparing for their final KCSE examinations this October.

During the meeting, several important matters affecting the students were discussed. These included school fee balances, student discipline, and ways of motivating both students and teachers in order to achieve better academic performance. Parents and teachers also shared different strategies that can help improve the school results and create a better learning environment for all the candidates.

One of the most joyful moments for me was seeing Wesley, who was recently appointed as the school head student, confidently addressing parents, teachers, and fellow students during the meeting. It was truly encouraging to witness his growth in leadership and responsibility.

I was also humbled and honored to be unanimously elected as the class representative. The trust shown to me by fellow parents was deeply encouraging, especially because of the humanitarian work I do within the community and the support I have continued to offer to students over time.

As a class representative, my role will include counseling and motivating students, checking on their welfare, and working closely with the school administration in matters aimed at improving academic performance and student well-being.

I thank everyone who has continued to support this important programme for our children. As the KCSE examinations draw near, we continue praying for wisdom, discipline, good health, and success for all the candidates.

May God bless all the students, teachers, parents, and supporters who are working tirelessly for a brighter future for these young learners.
