Gifting Our Sunday School Children for Christmas
Today was a joyful day in our church family. We gathered with our Sunday School children to bless them with new clothes for Christmas. Their smiles, laughter, and excitement reminded us why giving is such a powerful act of love. Many of these little ones come from homes where Christmas gifts are not guaranteed, so seeing them receive something new filled the day with real hope.
As a church, we believe that caring for children is part of our calling. Scripture teaches us, “Let the little children come to me… for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these” (Matthew 19:14). When we give to children, we are not just offering material gifts. We are planting seeds of love, dignity, and encouragement.
We also hold on to the promise in Proverbs 19:17: “Whoever is kind to the poor lends to the Lord, and he will reward them for what they have done.” Every shirt, dress, and pair of shoes shared today carries a message that God sees and values each child.
This Christmas, we celebrate the birth of Jesus by reflecting His kindness in our community. We thank everyone who prayed, supported, and contributed toward this outreach. May God bless you for touching young lives with compassion.
May these children grow in faith and joy as they wear their new clothes this festive season. Merry Christmas to all.
