A Small Step Towards Keeping These Students in School

Today I woke up early and travelled to follow up on school fee balances for Milverton, Wesley, and Rodric at Bar Olengo Secondary School and Siaya National Polytechnic.
Like many families across Kenya know, meeting education expenses is not always easy. Apart from school fees, there are usually other charges that come up during the term such as activity fees, symposium fees, and other school requirements. These costs can easily become a burden, especially for vulnerable students.
I thank God that today I managed to clear part of the outstanding balances and also pay some of the additional funds needed this month. Although the needs are still there, I am happy that the amount owed has been reduced and the students can continue with their studies with less pressure.
Every time I visit these schools, I am reminded that education is one of the greatest gifts we can give a child. When a student stays in school, they are given an opportunity to dream, learn, and build a better future for themselves and their families.
My prayer is that Milverton, Wesley, and Rodric will remain focused on their studies and make good use of the opportunity before them. The journey is not always easy, but with God’s grace and the support of well-wishers, we continue taking one step at a time.
I sincerely appreciate everyone who prays for these students and those who support this work in one way or another. Your kindness is helping to change lives and bring hope where it is needed most.
