It was a lovely Sunday and we were blessed from the word of God brought to us by my wife Benter Atieno. She is a saved woman and together we walk in the spirit of God. Benter was saved before me in 1997 when she was still a child. Her Father is a preacher and her mother is also a devoted christian. She is gifted in teaching the word. She has been a blessing not only to me, but to the widows and orphans. She talked about the need for being a true vine connected to Christ so that the fruits that come form us would be seen by those around us, many a times the life styles of Christians scare away those who are still not yet born again. JOHN 15:1- THE TRUE VINE AND BRANCHES ‘ 1.I am the true vine and my Father is the gardener,2 he cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit,while every branch that bears fruits he prunes so that it will be more fruitful.3 you are already clean because of the word i have spoken to you.4 Remain in me as i remain in you.MNO branch can bear fruit by itself.” GALATIANS 5:19-22 19 Now the works of the flesh are evident which are adultery, fornication, uncleanliness, lewdness ,idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousy 22 but the fruit of the spirit is love, joy ,peace, log suffering, kindness,goodness and faithfulness.

A MAN BORN BLIND RECEIVED SIGHT

Now Jesus passed by and he saw a man who was born blind from birth, v3 Jesus answered ‘neither this man nor his parents sinned but the work of God should revealed in him. v4 For I must work the works of Him who send me while it is day ,he night is coming when no one can work. v5 As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.

TEN CAUSE OF SPIRITUAL BLINDNESS

1. SIN – All who haven’t received salvation of Christ are blinded by the original sin. 2. SATAN – 2 Corinthians 4:4 Whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who don’t believe, lest the gospel of the Glory of Christ . Should shine on them. This is a supernatural blindness.it pollutes the mind tainting our views, and darkening ones sight. It is the work of the devil.

SHORTSIGHTEDNESS Mark 8:24 The man looked around “yes” he said, “I see people, but I cant see them clearly, they look like trees walking around.” They have had a touch from Christ but still they see trees.They are cultural Christians.

4. SECULARISM 5. FEAR AND UNBELIEF. 6. PRIDE AND PREJUDICE

Seeing but have lost spiritual sensitivity and vision.like Samson.

7. RELIGION Blinded by religious zeal and performance orientation. Saul of tarsus before he met the LIVING CHRIST on the road to Damascus.

8. GREED Blinded by covetousness and desire fr personal gain.The way of Balaam. It has the most powerful influences in the world today.

9.DISCOURAGEMENTS Those hurt by people and circumstances that they loose hope and ability to discern accurately. This was the condition of disciples after Jesus was crucified and buried. Luke 24:14

10 HATRED Those with jealousy , envy and anger towards one another,love is not blind but hatred is darkness. It is one of the force behind increased violence and murders of today..

1 JOHN 2:11 He who hates his brother is in darkness. THE ONLY CURE FOR TODAY,S SPIRITUAL BLINDNESS IS RECEIVING JESUS INTO OUR LIVES. REVELATIONS 3:20

‘BEHOLD I STAND AT THE DOOR AND KNOCK.IF ANYONE HEARS MY VOICE AND OPENS THE DOOR,I WILL COME INTO HIM AND DINE WITH HIM,AND HE WITH ME” THE LORD IS TAKING TO SOMEBODY WHO IS IN BONDAGE….

ISAIAH 55,SAYS,’SEEK THE LORD WHILE HE MAY STILL BE FOUND,CALL UPON HIM WHILE HE IS NEAR.”

He was a pupil of grade three, was a lively young boy. He had been attacked by a stray rabid dog. It is alleged that the animals bit him. When it tried to attack again, it was killed by neighbors who spotted its strange behavior, before it could attack other children.

The parents couldn’t afford further treatment because of the poverty. The drugs are rare, thus expensive for ordinary villagers to afford. Emanuel died on thursday 12th february and was laid to rest on saturday 14 February.

Kids Straining. As the teachers are still on strike, many pupils are forced to stay at home with parents, while those that come from well off families are continuing with there learning. Unfortunately they will do same examinations at the same time.

I saw these pupils carry a bunch of sugarcane,one of them a young boy of about 7 years was straining as the load was to heavy for his size.I went to inquire from them why they had to carry such heavy loads. They told me that they were hungry and no one was there to take of them, so they travel 10km to farms where those plants are and carry them to sell. That’s how they buy stationery before they go back to school.

I really feel that the young one needs support to keep him away from carrying such loads, or else he might develop chest problem from the weight. I am adding him to the list when I will get a loving kind Godly christian friend to support my ministry.
