Today, as usual, one of our Leaders went to church. Since they do not have electricity at home, he decided to charge both his phone and his wife’s phone at the church. However, when he returned, both phones were missing!
He had almost given up hope, but I encouraged him that we would pray and trust God.
God made a way, and we eventually learned that someone had seen the thief leaving the building. When I preached, I asked the congregation to pray and reminded them that this battle was not ours but the Lord’s. I also declared that the thief would return the phones and, more importantly, come to know Jesus Christ as his personal Saviour.
To the glory of God, the young man was caught! Without anyone putting pressure on him, he confessed to the crime and even offered to lead us to where he had sold the phones.
But the greatest miracle was not the recovery of the phones. It was the transformation of a soul!
The young man later pleaded with us to pray for him, and we had the privilege of leading him to accept Jesus Christ as his Lord and Saviour. Although many people were angry and wanted to harm him, we stood firm and discouraged violence. We reminded them that our mission was not to destroy the young man but to help him reform and find a new life in Christ.
I am delighted that he is now a new convert and has promised to attend church this Sunday.
Today, we did not just recover two phones. We witnessed the beginning of a transformed life! 🙌
Our prayer is that this young man will grow in faith, become firmly rooted in God’s Word, and eventually be used by the Lord to preach the Gospel to many others who are still bound by sin and the power of the enemy.
📖 Bible Verse: 2 Corinthians 5:17 (KJV)
“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”
Let us pray for this young man. May God strengthen him, protect him from temptation, and give him the grace to remain faithful to Christ. May his testimony become a powerful witness that no life is beyond the reach of God’s transforming power.
Our mission is not merely to see sinners punished, but to see lost souls restored to God through Jesus Christ.
To God be all the glory! 🙏🔥
